Lernayin Artsakh FC
Lernayin Artsakh FC is an association football club based in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The club name was changed several times. Between 1990-1995, they were known a Artsakh Stepanakert. Between 1995-2012 the club was relocated to Yerevan and renamed Karabakh Yerevan. Between 2002-2008 the club was known as Lernayin Artsakh Yerevan. In 2009, Lernayin Artsakh FC were relocated back to Stepanakert.
During the years between 1992 and 1995, Lernayin Artsakh was unable to participate in any competition due to a war that was taking place in Karabakh. In 1995, it was moved from Stepanakert to Yerevan in order to fit the club within FIFA rules.〔(Where's My Country? ), from rsssf.com, retrieved 29 June 2009〕 From 1995 to 2006, it participated in the Armenian football leagues, and was based in the city of Yerevan. Starting 2009, it's been participating in the league of Nagorno-Karabakh.
